DG MEME is a satirical website. We try to keep data collection minimal and boring, which is the correct emotional tone for data collection.

What this site stores

The site may store an essential browser preference so the cookie notice does not keep appearing after you dismiss it. If you leave a comment, the comment form collects the name, email address, comment text, IP address, browser user agent, target page and submission time needed to handle moderation and spam prevention.

Analytics

DG MEME may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which browsers or devices are used. Google Analytics may set cookies or similar identifiers and process technical data for those measurements.

Comments

Comments are not published immediately. They are stored on the live server as pending moderation records and reviewed offline before publication. Your email address is used only for moderation context and is not shown publicly.

Anti-spam

The comment form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions are not automated spam. Cloudflare may process technical data for that verification.

Donations

DG MEME uses a Ko-fi donation button in the header. Ko-fi may load scripts, set cookies or similar identifiers, and process technical data when the button appears or when you interact with it. Any donation or payment is handled by Ko-fi under its own terms and privacy rules.

External links

Links to social networks, Ko-fi, Redbubble, video platforms or other external websites open outside DG MEME. Those services have their own privacy and cookie rules.

DG MEME Social Media Planner

DG MEME operates a private Social Media Planner to prepare, schedule and publish content to its connected social accounts, including Facebook Pages, Instagram and Threads. It is an administration tool for authorised operators; visitors do not need to connect a social account to browse this website.

Information the planner receives and stores

When an operator connects an account, the planner receives information from the selected service needed to identify the account and carry out the authorised actions. Depending on the connection, this includes account or Page IDs, names or usernames, granted permissions, access tokens, refresh tokens and token expiry details. During Meta connection, available Pages and linked professional Instagram accounts are read so the operator can choose a destination.

The planner stores captions, uploaded images, schedules, publication status, post IDs and links, and operational records needed to manage posts and troubleshoot failures. When performance information is refreshed, it stores available aggregate counts, such as likes, reactions, comments, shares and views, with their retrieval time. Its analytics feature does not import the text of social-media comments, the identities of people interacting with posts, private messages or follower lists.

How this information is used and shared

This information is used to connect the selected accounts, publish content requested or scheduled by an operator, maintain publication records and display post performance. Content and the credentials needed to authorise an action are sent to the relevant social platform. Where an operator uses Buffer, the selected content and related publication information also pass through Buffer. These services process data under their own privacy policies.

Planner data is stored on DG MEME’s hosting infrastructure, provided by Aruba, and may also be present in operator-controlled maintenance copies and backups. Access tokens are encrypted in storage, and access to the planner requires authentication. Essential session cookies and, if selected, a trusted-browser cookie keep authorised operators signed in. The planner does not sell personal data or use connected-account data to build advertising profiles.

Retention and disconnecting an account

Saved content, account identifiers, publication history and performance snapshots remain in the planner until manually removed; they do not have an automatic expiry. Disconnecting a Facebook, Instagram or Threads account in the planner disables that connection and removes its saved access and refresh tokens from the active account record. It does not automatically erase saved posts, account identifiers, performance history or backup copies, and it does not delete content already published on a social platform. App access can also be revoked through the relevant platform’s account settings.

Request access, correction or deletion

To ask about data held by the planner, request a copy or correction, or request deletion, use the DG MEME contact form with the subject Social Media Planner data request. Include the relevant platform and account name or Page link, and describe the information you want us to locate or delete. Never send passwords, access tokens or authenticator codes.

We may ask for information needed to verify that you are entitled to make the request. We will review the relevant active records and retained maintenance or backup copies, explain any information that needs to be retained for security or legal reasons, and confirm the action taken. Removing data from the planner is separate from removing an already published post from Facebook, Instagram or another platform; please specify if your request also concerns published content.

Contact

If you use the contact form, the site collects the name, email address, subject, message text, IP address, browser user agent and submission time needed to send and protect the message.
